The Institut Français d’Égypte will host the grand finale of the very first eSports tournament for French lycées in Egypt on March 23, 2025. Titled “1st eSports Competition of French Schools in Egypt - FIFA Tournament of the Best Players and Commentators”, this landmark event will showcase the top FIFA players and commentators from three renowned institutions: Concordia L.I.F.E., Lycée Albert Camus, and Misr Lycée International. Organized by Discovery Path to celebrate the month of Francophonie and promote an innovative approach to eSports in education, this finale crowns a pioneering tournament launched in early 2025 by the three French lycées and Discovery Path Innovative Education. The goal: to promote the French language through sports commentary and strategic thinking.  

The tournament began in January 2025, with qualifying rounds held in each school to select the finalists. The event was a resounding success, with matches broadcast and commentated in French by students. Open to the school community, it highlighted the competitive spirit and enthusiasm of the participants. Each school selected its six best players and two best commentators, who will compete in the finale at the Institut Français d’Égypte. This journey, spanning the first quarter of 2025, has generated significant excitement leading up to the finale on March 23.
